Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Vanta Studios ("we", "us") collects when you use the Project Vanta website, waitlist, game clients, and related services (together, the "Services"), and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you join the waitlist or create an account.
- Gameplay telemetry. Match results, performance statistics, input timing patterns, and device/hardware identifiers — used for matchmaking, payouts, and anti-cheat.
- Wallet information. If you connect or create a wallet, we process its public address and transaction history related to the Services. We never have access to self-custodied private keys.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and OS details, crash reports, and cookies or similar technologies used to operate and secure the site.
- Communications. Messages you send us (support, press, security reports).
2. How we use it
- Operating the Services: accounts, matchmaking, item inventory, and reward payouts.
- Integrity: detecting cheating, botting, multi-accounting, and payment fraud. Anti-cheat processing is a core, non-optional part of competitive play.
- Communications you've asked for: beta invitations and service announcements. Marketing email is opt-in and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
- Improving the game: aggregate analytics on matches, balance, and performance.
- Legal compliance, including sanctions screening and applicable financial regulations where token features are involved.
3. What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your data to train third-party advertising profiles.
- We do not access self-custodied wallets or move player assets.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Services (hosting, analytics, email delivery, custodial wallet infrastructure, anti-cheat), under contractual confidentiality; with authorities where legally required; and in aggregate, de-identified form for economy transparency reporting.
5. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards. Anti-cheat and fraud records may be retained longer where needed to enforce bans. Telemetry is aggregated or deleted on a rolling schedule. On-chain records are public and permanent by the nature of blockchains and cannot be deleted by us.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@projectvanta.io and we'll respond within the timelines required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
7. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data. Token features carry a higher minimum age where required by law.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and multi-signature treasury custody. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to security@projectvanta.io.
9. Changes
We'll post updates to this policy here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be announced in the Services.
